Learning should be an adventure for every child but sometimes you need a guide to help navigate the peaks and valleys of the educational journey.
With 30 years of experience in elementary education, Christie is dedicated to guiding and serving students and their families to academic growth and success. Her experience includes 20 years of teaching in elementary classrooms and 10 years as an instructional coach supporting the growth and development of educators and students in a public education leadership role.
Christie has been honored by her colleagues as "Teacher of the Year" at Barton Creek Elementary in 2012 and Hamilton Park Pacesetter Magnet in 2006. She is a Teacher Consultant for the Central Texas Writing Project and holds Texas Teaching Certifications in Elementary Education, Early Childhood Education, Elementary Reading, and English as a Second Language.
